Another Duke Field Pioneer from the early years, David Selwyn, passed away this 

past Wednesday 18 April after being diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer

only 3 weeks earlier. As some may remember Dave first served in the 711th as a

Loadmaster in 1973 before moving on to become a Flight Engineer and eventually

took a civilian FE position over in the Flight Simulator and finished the remainder

of his military career up at Maxwell AFB. He was another well respected member  

of the "Duke Family" who was very proud of the 919th and served it well. He will

be truly missed by all of us that knew him!!!
