Jerald C. Simmons

Jerald C. Simmons of Pensacola passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2024 in Columbus, Georgia. Jerald was a lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was born to Alfred G. & Juanita Ward Simmons. Jerald was an Air Force veteran and served during Desert Storm. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast who belonged to the Northwest Florida HOG Chapter and the Patriot Guard Riders.
Jerald was predeceased by his sister, Betty Young and two grandsons, Randall Quarles and Justin Howell.
Survivors are his loving wife of 66 years, Mary N. Simmons; his four children, Linda K. (Carroll) Quarles of Milton, FL, Jerry R. Simmons of Millerville, AL, Mark D. (Kaylen) Simmons of Navarre FL, and Pamela M. Simmons of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by his sister, Charlotte (Robert) Renkemeyer. He left behind 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at 1pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL.
