Henry Bailey

Henry Bailey, 83 of Crestview, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Henry was born November 19, 1936 in Corbin Glow, KY, he moved to the area in 1970 with his family from New Orleans, LA. Henry was a retired CMSGT with the Untied States Air Force, he also worked with Civil Service as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Burley & Delphia Bailey, wife, Shelby Jean Bailey, sisters Irene Mugrage and Jean Danesie, brother, Burley Bailey Jr., son, Robert and grandson Phillip Bailey. He is survived by two sons, Michael Bailey, Allan Bailey (Eva), daughter-in-law Lisa Bailey, two daughters, Kathy Ohlinger (Daniel), Linda Angelo, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, January 6, 2020, from the Chapel of Brackney Funeral Service, beginning at 11:00am. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am at the funeral home.

Henry Bailey passed away this past Wednesday 1 Jan 2020 at his home in Crestview.  He came over (as an original in 1971) to Duke Field from the New Orleans, LA area to help setup the 919th Maintenance Squadron and later worked as Supervisor of the Aircraft Engine Shop for many successful years before retiring in the Crestview area where he lived out the rest of his time enjoying family and many of his 919th friends.  Henry was another well respected Pioneer of the Duke Family who was very proud of the Military and served it well during his tenure as a Senior Duke Family member.  Another original Duke Pioneer who will truly be missed by everyone that knew him!!!
