RICK ANDREOZZI

Another Duke Family Member, Rick (Gunna) Andreozzi passed away last Friday

10 February 2017. Rick was an asset to the Gunship mission and a key player in

many projects and improvements around the 919th SOW. His last major endeavor

after retirement of the Gunships involved taking on the responsibility of recruiting

volunteers from Duke to help him with his newfound project of maintaining and

improving the appearance of aircraft 129 (First Lady) after its retirement in 1995.

He, along with a few others, lead the way to the creation of what we now call the

"Friends of the First lady" organization, who continues to carry on his tradition.   

Rick, as we all remember, was a very well respected Art "Gunna" in the 711th SOS 

who loved the Gunship Mission and its people. He served the 919th SOW and his

country with great pride and will truly be missed by all of his "Duke Field Family".
