Another Duke Family Member Tom Altman, a well known Ariel Gunner in the

711 SOS passed away on  Saturday 11 March 2017 after a very long battle with

Alzheimer's. He was truly one of the Good Guys in our Gunship Family, and was always there for his fellow aircrew brothers when they needed help or just a kind word of encouragement to help them get a difficult time in their lives. Tom was a True Friend and Comrade to us all and will be dearly missed by the Duke Family.  

Please keep Chris and the family in your thoughts and prayers they go through this extremely difficult time.

Tom will be cremated, and at some future time the family will spread his ashes at his favorite spots. There are no services planned, but if anyone would like to send Chris a card or note her address is 2680 Shiloh Way, Tallahassee, Fl  32308-9792.
